Inguz, a rune of the elder futhark, in Unicode: ᛜ or alternatively: ᛝ
This is an ancient symbol, even timeless, so I hope you don’t mind that I’ll skip the necessary explanations of provenance. This glyph would be right at home in the rail alphabet. I made an animated version one time, with crossed loudspeaker cones pumping the bass.
I still like the tagline for my room-correction DSP work: “inguz audio - out comes music”.
Just obviously, something fertile and explicit is implied here. It’s got legs. Inguz, it’s said, “requires the completion of beginnings”; but today I want to imbue it with new significance. Here’s a name for my developing consulting practice. And a new blog. It’s more open-ended than the audio stuff, but includes working in sound; the challenge is to build processes that deliver value.
“inguz outcomes”.
